模型趣味の世界で「King of Hobby」と言われる鉄道模型。私がドイツのニュルンベルクで年一度開催される世界最大のホビー・トイのイベントSpielwarenmesse International toy Fair Nürnberg(ニュルンベルグ国際玩具見本市）に視察に行った際に一番驚いたのが鉄道模型関連のブースの広さ、熱量の高さでした。ドイツでは圧倒的に鉄道模型が盛んで、精巧に作られた鉄道模型、ジオラマが所狭しと並べられていました。その世界の奥深さとメーカー各社の職人魂に触れ、いつか我が社でもユニークな鉄道模型を世に出したいと思っておりました。
当社がある長野県は山に囲まれ、かって林業が盛んな地域でした。また道路も整備が困難でながらく移動や輸送の手段は鉄道が担っていたという歴史があります。今となっては廃線となってしまった路線も多いのですが、林業を支えた森林鉄道や地域の足となった国鉄や私鉄各社の鉄道には大変魅力的な車両が多くありました。そのような鉄道を愛好する団体や地域私鉄の各社様への取材と協力を得ることができ、当社ではカプセルトイを始め精密な鉄道模型の開発と販売をいたしております。
当社では自身で作って塗る鉄道模型を中心としたプロダクトを提供し、今まで模型化されていなかったローカル車両にスポットを当てて、車両そのものだけではなくその背景や歴史もお伝えしていきたいと考えています。
日本、そして信州らしい鉄道模型を模索し、持てる技術を余すことなく導入し、今までにない鉄道模型を皆様にお届けいたします。
Model railroading, known as the “King of Hobbies” in the world of modeling. When I visited the Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair Nürnberg—the world's largest annual hobby and toy event held in Nuremberg, Germany—what surprised me most was the sheer size and intensity of the model railroad booths. Model railroading is overwhelmingly popular in Germany, with exquisitely crafted trains and dioramas packed tightly together. Experiencing the depth of this world and the craftsmanship of the manufacturers inspired me to one day create a unique model train for our company.
Nagano Prefecture, where our company is based, is surrounded by mountains and was once a thriving forestry region. Additionally, due to the difficulty of road construction, railways long served as the primary means of transportation and goods movement. While many lines have since been abandoned, the forest railways that supported logging and the national and private railways that served as the lifeline for the region featured many incredibly charming rolling stock. We were able to secure interviews and cooperation from railway enthusiast groups and various regional private railway companies. Based on this, our company develops and sells precision railway models, starting with capsule toys.
We focus on providing products centered around model trains that customers can assemble and paint themselves. We aim to spotlight local vehicles that have not been previously modeled, conveying not just the vehicles themselves but also their background and history.
We seek to create model trains that embody the essence of Japan and Shinshu, incorporating all our available technology to deliver unprecedented model trains to you.
